Godfrey learned to be a magician by reading magic books in his school library when he was 7 years old. He would be sent to the library because he is an asthmatic and could not participate regularly in physical education classes.
Since that time he has collected over 3,500 books on magic. (Please don't tell his wife how many books he owns. He claims that he has to sneak them into the house when she is not looking. He is scared of her).
After graduating from high school, Godfrey traveled with a small sideshow, "Circus of the Fantastic." It was in the circus that he learned how to be a very entertaining magician.
In the show was Spongie the Sponge Girl, whose body was made out of sponge, Miss Electra, who could take 50,000 volts of electricity through her body, and Amanda the Indestructible Child, who could walk barefoot on a ladder of razor sharp swords.
When he finished touring with the circus he enlisted in the United States Navy. He's a proud veteran and served honorably for four years.
He was a jet mechanic and fixed helicopters. While in the Navy he was still having fun entertaining his fellow sailors with his magic.

Won the award for funniest magician at the International Brotherhood of Magicians Convention, the largest magic convention in the United States.
Won the Danny Dew Award in Manipulation two years in a row, plus Close-Up Magician of the Year in San Diego, California.
The Arizona Fairs Association gave him the "Associate Member Of The Year Award" twice.
He has opened for numerous stars and celebrities, Weird Al Yankovic being his favorite. His unique shows consisting of magic, comedy, and audience participation have allowed him to entertain in 14 countries outside of the United States. He has entertained on numerous TV shows and he can even do magic on the radio.
